Established in 1964 under the Companies Act, Karnataka State Industrial Investment & Development Corporation Ltd., KSIIDC is wholly owned by the government of Karnataka with a paid up capital of Rs. 725 millions. KSIIDC is recognised by the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) as a Category 'A' Industrial Development Financial Institution, and category I Merchant Bank by SEBI, headquartered at Bangalore with zonal offices at Hubli, Mysore, Mangalore and Gulbarga. |
The main objective of KSIIDC is to act as a catalyst for promoting industrial growth in the state especially in the medium and large sector and to act as the designated agency of the state government to plan and promote industrial infrastructure development projects after assessing the need in different sectors / areas and also monitor the specified mega projects during their implementation as the nodal agency for disinvestments of state public sector undertakings.
Since its inception, KSIIDC is encouraging entrepreneurs to venture in Karnataka by providing financial assistance and other allied financial services at competitive rates of interest, various forms of loans, other support services and also facilitates attractive incentives, concessions and tax holidays.
