GLOBAL INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Selection of Concessionaire for the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer of “High Speed Rail Link to Bangalore International Airport (HSRL)”

 

The Opportunity:  The State Government of Karnataka through the Karnataka State Industrial Investment & Development Corporation Limited (KSIIDC) is initiating the concessioning process for the High Speed Rail Link to Bangalore International Airport, India, on BOT basis.  Expression of Interest (EOI) is invited from eligible national and international entities for Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer of the HSRL Project.  Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has been retained as the consultant / project advisor by the Government of Karnataka in the concessioning process.

 

The Project:  The HSRL will have a length of about 34 km from the Bangalore city centre to the International Airport passing through Cubbon Road (City Center check-in station), Hebbal (Check-in station), Yelahanka (pick-up station) and Bangalore International Airport Terminal Station.

 

The Application Procedure:  The detailed Expression of Interest document and Project Brief may be accessed from the website of KSIIDC www.ksiidc.com or website of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited: www.delhimetrorail.com from 14th July 2008 onwards or may be obtained from the office of KSIIDC at the address given below. Last date for submission of EoI is 30th September 2008.
